The Franchise Tax Board will reconfigure the income tax bracket for each year to ensure accuracy. The California Department of Industrial Relations will alert the Franchise Tax Board of any changes in the California Consumer Price Index between June of the previous year all the way through June of the present year. Following this, the board will then calculate any adjustments for inflation and then multiply this by the former year's income tax brackets.
